The Lekkie cranks are a HUGH improvement over the ‘standard’ cranks provided with Bafang Mid-Drive motors.
As many others experienced, I found the standard cranks bent and wobbled under the pressure I applied when pedaling uphills. This wobble would quickly wear the square drive axle.
If you want to use normal riding pedal force with an E-Bike conversion, I recommend the Lekkie cranks. No need for a crank puller to uninstall.
Just keep tightened!
I have found I needed to retighten occasionally… especially with cold weather.
