The RANS Fusion Bicycle set up as a touring bike is working out quite well.

With the Bafang BBS02 motor, it goes along nicely at 14mph using a light pedal assist.  The major feature of the bicycle is that both feet can be placed on the ground at the same time while the rider remains seated. Really important on stops.

On a loaded touring bike, that is not only a huge convenience, but a SAFETY FEATURE.  Avoiding falls when getting on and off the bicycle and starts really gets important as a rider ages.
